HAMS is an international board of examination of Indian Classical Art forms, established by the maestros of Indian Classical Music in the year 2010 to popularize and teach Indian Classical Music among the Indian masses. The society is registered under The Registrar of Societies Act XXXVI of 1961 bearing the Registration Number-S/1L/74383 dated 04/10/2010.Our Unique ID of VO/NGO is WB/2018/0187626.It is also an ISO 9001:2015 certified global examination board. It is affiliated to the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, National Human Rights Commission and Central Vigilance Commission, Government of India.
HAMS has its headquarter in Kolkata, West Bengal, a premier and professional music organization of India which is imparting quality training in the subjects of Indian Classical Music including Carnatic Music (Vocal & Instrumental), Classical Dance forms ( Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi etc) and Fine Arts (Painting, Recitation).
The basic objective of the society is to revive the prestige of Indian Classical Music comprising Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Classical Dance forms and to organize systematic training in India and abroad.
The society affiliates the educational institutions which imparts Classical Art forms training to the students. It conducts examinations bi-annually to judge the standard of the students of the affiliated institutions and awards the degrees and diplomas to the qualified students. The society organizes music competitions and concerts globally. It honors the distinguished artists. The society organizes research work in Folk Songs and dances. It also trains teachers, awards scholarships, trains the students belonging to financially backward classes and Divyang students free of cost and implements different schemes announced by the Central and State Governments.
