About Hindusthan Art & Music Society

Hindusthan Art & Music Society (HAMS) was established in the year 2010, is a Global Examination Board of Indian Art & Culture, established by the great maestros of Indian Music in the world, to popularize and teach Indian Classical music amongst the masses in India.

Our Society is registered under the Registrar of Societies of West Bengal Society Registration Act XXVI OF 1961 bearing the Registration Number- S/1L/74383 dated 04/10/2010. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2018/0187626. It is also ISO:9001;2015 certified International Examination Board of Indian Art & Culture. It is also affiliated to the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. This Board had certified from Central Vigilance Commission, Govt. of India & National Human Rights Commission.

Hindusthan Art & Music Society (HAMS) having its Headquarters in Kolkata (West Bengal), an enormous sister set-up in Hoshangabad (Madhya Pradesh), a premier and prestigious organizations of the country which is imparting quality education and training in the subjects of Indian Classical Music including Carnatic Music (Vocal & Instrumental), Classical Dances (e.g. Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi Dance, etc.) and Fine Arts (Painting, Recitation). The basic object of the society has always been to revive the prestige of the art of music comprising vocal music, instrumental music, dance and to organize systematic training in this art in India and also in foreign countries, besides reaching it to people at large. With this end in view, the Society had been devotedly applying itself to solid work.

To revive the prestige of the art of music of India through comprising different kinds of dance forms, music gharanas, and instruments.

Vision

To organize systematic training in ancient art and music in India and also in foreign countries for spreading the culture in the world.

Our Objectives

(A) To recognize the educational institutions which impart and music education under the prescribed syllabus in India & abroad.
(B) To conduct examinations to judge the standard of such education of the students of recognized institutions.
(C) To award the degrees and diplomas to successful candidates.
(D) To organize music competition and conference at the international level and to honor the distinguished artists.
(E) To organize research work in folk songs and dances and collections thereof for the preservation.
(F) To train the teachers.
(G) To give scholarships.
(H) To impart music education free of cost to the physically and financially incapacitated persons.
(I) To implement different schemes, programs of art and music of the Central and State Governments.
